Enhanced nighttime sensitivity

The Forward FN455 uses proprietary software, cutting-edge electronic components and signal-processing algorithms to deliver one of the industry’s highest values of sensitivity in infrared spectrum (nighttime sensitivity). The result is a device offering flawless passive-mode performance in deep twilight, even night, without switching on IR illumination. High sensitivity in the range of 900-950nm makes it possible to use the Forward F455 with invisible IR Illuminators.

Over 500m nighttime viewing range

High nighttime sensitivity, high resolution display and sensor, wide selection of brightness and contrast settings, quality optics and a powerful built-in IR Illuminator for operation in total darkness make the Forward FN455 the perfect tool for detecting large quarry at distances of 450-500 meters.

Easy transformation of an day scope or binoculars into a night vision device

To install the Forward FN onto the front optical bell of a daylight spotting scope or binoculars, adapters of various mounting size are used. The adapter permanently attaches to the scope’s bell. This allows quick installation of the Forward FN attachment in front of the lens for nighttime observation. When the attachment is not used, the adapter accommodates a protective cap to protect the spotting scope lens in the daytime.

Integrated video and sound recorder

Capturing still images and video is seamless with the Forward FN455’s built-in video recorder. High quality videos will also record sound so you can capture your full experience whilst using the device.  Image and video content is stored internally and can easily be transferred to PC/laptop via wired connection or wirelessly to your smartphone or tablet with the iOS and Android compatible Stream Vision App.

Powerful long-range IR Illuminator

The Forward FN455 is supplied with a detachable high power invisible IR illuminator (940 nm). Three adjustable IR power levels help choose preferred effective range and illumination level of an object observed.

Stream Vision App. Remote Review, operation and live YouTube streaming Using Smartphone

Using the free, high-tech, iOS and Android compatible Stream Vision app, the Forward FN455 connects via Wi-Fi to allow transfer of images and video to smartphones and other wireless devices in real time, stream footage to YouTube and other online video platforms (depending on model), and even use your personal device as a wireless remote control.

Instant start-up

Forward FN455 starts up within three seconds after ON button is pressed.

Fully waterproof IPX7

The Forward FN455 is fully waterproof featuring an IPX7 level of protection. The device is able to operate in precipitation of any intensity and survive a short-term submersion.

Software sensitivity enhancement algorithm SumLight

SumLight function increases sensor sensitivity, which allows passive observation (with IR off) in low light at night. The software automatically activates algorithms, such as summing adjacent pixel signals, frame addition, thus increasing sensitivity while preserving sufficient image quality.

Updatable Software

A smartphone, free mobile application Stream Vision and Internet access is all one needs to check updates and to install new firmware. This allows a hunter to receive new features and bug fixes for a Forward FN455 he/she already owns.

Operating Temperatures from -25 to +50°C

Forward FN455 is effective in use at low temperatures (down to -25°C). The frost-resistant AMOLED display features quick response rate and ensures a crisp image when viewing fast moving objects.

Four point quick bayonet mount system with secure clamp

The Forward FN docks the proprietary adapter with the durable four-point bayonet assembly. Pulsar line includes three models of adapters to mount on scopes with a lens diameter of 40; 42; 50; 56mm.
